I started appraising real estate for the Bank of America in Chico while in my last year at Chico State University. After my graduation with a Business Degree as a Finance Major, I went to work for an independent real estate appraisal firm in Chico. After 5 years there, I decided to open up my own appraisal firm and Granicher Appraisals started business on June 1st 1990. I’m still an active appraiser and my appraisal firm has grown quite a bit over the years with most of my appraisal clients being mortgage lenders, banks, private and corporate companies, attorneys and private parties. My real estate experience also includes buying and selling my own properties, minor land development, new home building, rental property ownership, rental property management and house “flipping” as well. So I am well-versed and experienced in most aspects of local real estate. I’m always happy to tell people what I know and what is possible or steer them in the right direction.
